Ian has over 10 years of experience in leading, designing, and developing customer focused technology for the mining sector.

Prior to ExcelSense, Ian had various roles at Motion Metrics for over 9 years as Product Manager and lead designer. Ian led a team of engineers and has taken several products from design to production and finally into the hands of customers. As an innovative leader in technology, Ian and his team have tackled a wide range of challenges in the development and deployment of technology for the mining sector.

Ian holds an honors degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of British Columbia. Ian has been successfully granted several patents.
